About

Dr. Jenkins is a Professor of Hydrology at the University of Redlands. She holds a Ph.D. from Duke University and teaches courses in Groundwater Hydrology, Climatology, and Aquifer Storage. Dr. Jenkins was appointed to the San Bernardino Valley Water Conservation District in the summer of 2024. As a local groundwater expert, Dr. Jenkins monitors groundwater in hundreds of acres of wetlands in our local watershed and serves as project advisor to the National Forest Service, Fish & Wildlife Service and local conservancy agencies. Dr. Jenkins has been a resident of the Inland Empire Since 2014. She lives in North Redlands with her family and cares deeply about our Redlands, Highland, and Mentone Communities.
